from Pennsylvania

Jared is an energetic and spunky young boy who enjoys playing with trucks, cars, and NERF guns. He also enjoys watching cartoons such as Mickey Mouse Club House, Paw Patrol, and Wild Kratts. He is imaginative in his play and can be found building figurines and modeling clay into different objects, which he always has a very specific purpose and plan for. He's intelligent, creative, and opinionated. He's not afraid for his voice to be heard and to advocate for his what he wants! Although he wears leg braces to assist with his gait, he maintains regular activities and routines for his young age. He's very active and loves to run around and play. He also enjoys swimming and his swimming lessons. His favorite school subject is gym class and his favorite sports are wrestling and football. He's also a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan. Jared's favorite food is tacos, but you can win his heart over with special snacks like cookies and ice cream. His caregivers have found small snacks, like Skittles and Goldfish, to be an effective positive reinforcement for his behaviors throughout the day. His caregivers characterize him as a bright and endearing child who can be affectionate towards others by being helpful, offering hugs, and sharing loving words. Caregivers have further noted that with his big bright blue eyes, he's extremely ?cute? and that he knows it. He can be very charming, and is able to bring a smile to those around him even on days that are difficult. Jared has a strong, positive relationship with his former guardian whom he calls ?nana? and needs a family that will support and encourage this relationship through regular contact and visits within the Central Pennsylvania area. Jared is not yet free for adoption; however, when a family is identified, the county will enact final steps to terminate parental rights.
