Logan is a healthy, typically developing boy who was born in October 2003. He has lived in several different orphanages since birth.
A friendly, generally positive teen, Logan shows good emotional intelligence. He easily establishes contact with others, maintains friendships, and strives to meet adults expectations. Logan shows competence in daily-life activities, cleaning, food preparation, and organization of his personal space. He has well-developed gross motor and fine motor skills and understands and follows instructions. Despite a relatively poor vocabulary, he composes simple sentences, can lead a conversation, and endeavors to use correct spelling and grammar. Logan can be easily distracted, although his attention improves when he in engaged in an activity of interest. When frustrated Logan may respond with verbal aggression, however, when reprimanded he quickly corrects his behavior.
Logan is an 8th grade student in 2017/2018. He is well-adapted to the environment and regularly attends school but shows academic gaps and has difficulty acquiring the material. Logan has mastered appropriate personal hygiene and health habits. He enjoys music, playing cards, watching TV, projects that involve cutting and gluing, walking in the park, and picnics.
